Payment and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash and check.

The Affordable Care Act requires health insurance companies to cover “comprehensive lactation support and counseling, by a trained provider during pregnancy and/or in the postpartum period, and costs for renting breastfeeding equipment.”

To determine your plan's coverage and preauthorization requirements contact the member services department at your Health Insurance plan. I provide a Superbill receipt with insurance codes which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most clients have received partial or full reimbursement from their insurance providers. This article has some information to help you with the reimbursement process.
